Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday we give you the scoop on what's happening in and out of the wrestling ring. As the kids would say, "the dilly-o."

"Ahhhh, No!"

It's Monday!

With only two more shows before King of the Ring the WWF should be in full swing tonight on Raw. We can expect to see two of the four King of the Ring quarter final matches. Those matches are currently Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Hardy, Big Show vs. Christian, Rhyno vs. Tajiri and Edge vs. Saturn. Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon have a match on Sunday. I imagine that feud will continue to brew tonight with the added possibility of another WCW invasion. The Undertaker's stalker said it was time to come forward (just in time for the WWF to make a match for Sunday; how convenient.) Will the mystery be solved tonight? The Dudleys and the Hollys don't have matches at King of the Ring yet. Will the Spike and Molly romance continue to ignite this family feud? It's so devilishly scandalous. Also expect the finishing touches to be put on the Austin/Jericho/Benoit main event.

Rhyno's Rise

Rhyno made his main event debut Sunday night in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He and Steve Austin teamed together to fight Chris Jericho & Chris Benoit in a steel cage. Maybe it's my love of dumb guys, but I really think Rhyno has the potential to be a huge star in the WWF.

From the Ross Report

Jim Ross made his weekly Ross Report on Friday. Here are some highlights.

Billy Gunn's Father died last week which is why Gunn did not appear at this week's TV tapings.

-The King of the Ring quarter-finals will be held on this week's Raw and Smackdown. Only three tournament matches are scheduled for the PPV.

-Said those predicting a September relaunch for WCW "should think again," implying that it will happen sooner than that.

-Jim also called the Smackdown debut of Stacy Keibler "outstanding." (I agree. Hubba, hubba)

-Ross gave a short update on Triple H, saying that he "continues to rehab like a crazy man in Birmingham, Ala." Ross also said that Triple H will "most probably be a huge fan favorite" once he returns.

-Ross put over Tajiri's Smackdown debut by saying he "could be a real sleeper."

-Ross didn't' say who the Undertaker's wife's stalker is, but did say that the mystery person "is not Ole Anderson."

-Put over Paul Heyman as a color commentator by saying "it just keeps getting better." Ross also asked that readers not send him negative e-mails on the matter. (Sissy)

Smackdown, smacked down!

The final broadcast rating for Smackdown last week was a 3.2 with a 6 share, which would make it the lowest number the show has ever done. Despite several weeks of strong WWF shows, the ratings have continued to decline. This is a clear sign that casual wrestling fans that jumped on the bandwagon during the peak years are starting to find better ways to spend their Monday and Thursday nights. Personally, no matter how good or bad the WWF gets, I refuse to watch Ally McBeal.

Vampiro Injured

Former WCW star Vampiro suffered a knee injury last night working the main event of EMLL's Arena Mexico event, his first EMLL main event since returning to the promotion. Dr. Wagner, Jr. dropkicked Vampiro in the side of the knee instead of the front of it as planned, blowing out Vampiro's knee. Vampiro went to the hospital after the event and should be seeing his doctor today in order to determine the extent of the injury. He will need time out of the ring, but the amount of time needed has yet to be determined. So, remember kids: if you're being chased by a vampire and there are no wooden stakes around, go for the knees. What a slow news day. I really hope someone does something stupid tonight at Raw so I can talk about it on Wednesday. Until then...
