We
still cheer for you, Stacey.
Oh, heck, that made even ME sick.

NEWS
Stacey Kiebler came in third in Dancing With The Stars.
Drew Lachey won. I still think Stacey was better.
Sadly,
I doubt we’ll see a dance-off between Drew and Stacey.
Stacey’s contract is up shortly and she’ll probably
not re-sign with WWE, but she’ll also probably not
be as big a star as she’s been over the last couple
of years.
RAW
While I didn’t see all of it, it seems that they’ve
been working towards Mania with a strong build. They opened
with Foley and Edge talking about the challenge and Mick
said no to a wrestling match but yes to a Hard Core match.
Mick then produced a barbed wire bat and Edge bailed through
the crowd.
In my
cave, the lights went out. That sucked. Came back on for
a Ric Flair interview. He talked about being 57 and how
people have been thinking that he’s finished for fifteen
years. Actually, they’ve been saying that since 1989
(which makes seventeen years). They then had Marty Jannetty
talking to Shawn about kissing Vince’s ass and how
Marty’s without a job and will do what he has to.
They are pushing Carlito hard now, which
is a great thing. They had him talking about the money in
the bank match for Mania and that there’d be three
matches to select who will be in there. RVD then took on
a bad looking Trevor Murdoch to make it into the match.
RVD missed a big Top Rope Leap, but ended up winning the
match with a Spinning Heel Kick and Rolling Thunder leading
to the Five Star Frog Splash.
Trish
beat Candice Michelle, who still is getting much better.
Not a good match, but it was short and ended up with Trish
rolling up Candice for the win after Trish was being pinned
with Torrie helping Candice.
John
Cena did an interview with Coach, They’re trying to
do the magic that was Coach-Rock in 1999. John was getting
booed, though not as badly as three or four months ago.
HHH came into the ring. The lights went out again.
Chavo
and Shelton were having a decent match when I got power
back. Chavo is good, always has been, and Shelton is good
when they get him away from the gimmick. Chavo was on the
offensive, hit the Three Amigos, but Mama distracted the
ref and Randy Orton came in and gave Chavo the RKO so that
Shelton will be in the Money in the Bank match. I liked
it.
Carlito
lost the Money in the Bank qualifier to Ric Flair. Flair’s
gonna be in the match, but it’s probably not a good
idea. He can only do a match like he did with Edge once
a year at most. Still, they didn’t bury Carlito here,
so it was OK that he lost.
That’s
when the lights went out for the final time. By the time
they came back on, they were having Shawn Michaels kissing
Vince’s ass with help from Shane-O Mac. I think I
really need to watch the rest of the show I missed, because
it sounds like they’ve put a lot into it.
Good show, what I saw, though there are
still problems showing on the road to Mania.
That’s
all for this week. If I do a report next week, it will be
strictly a short one along with a little Cinequest coverage.
