City
of Heroes:
Michael Goodson's Journey To Level 50, part 1
|
But
first, a bit of Burrito beefcake for our female
reader. |
It's
been a long year of fighting crime in Paragon City, and
we at Fanboy Planet have had way too much of our lives sucked
away in the pursuit of justice.
None
more so, perhaps, than videogame editor Michael Goodson,
the hero known as Burrito, who a few months ago locked himself
away from his wife and any other loved ones in mad pursuit
of the top honor in City of Heroes: Level 50.
With
that honor comes the right to create a character in one
of two new categories. But after so many hours of playing,
Goodson collapsed, finally breaking down and getting a day
job.
Over
the next few weeks, we'll be running sporadic screen shots
from his journey, to remind you of just how fun it is to
pound away at villains, aliens and extra-dimensional menaces,
perhaps just in time for City of Villains, and
Goodson's next extended period of seclusion.

Surveying
the city from Level 30 or so. |
|
Dark
Burrito, which Goodson usually assumes about 2 a.m.
in the hotel room at Comic-Con after a trip to Baja
Fresh. |
|
I
think this was a scene in 13 Going On 30... |
|
Dark
Burrito falls before...well, actually, the joke
is too tasteless even for me. |
|
No,
THIS is truly Burrito unmasked. Note the power in
the midsection... |
