of Heroes is a massively multiplayer super hero role playing
game by publisher NCSoft and developer Cryptic Studios. It
is available for pre-order now and those players that pre-order
the game will be allowed into the beta test. Pre-order players
will also get to play on the public servers three days before
the general public.
NCSoft
was nice enough to send us a fresh batch of screen shots and
the game looks awesome. Fanboy Planet hopes to have a preview
of the beta version up soon as well as a full review once
the game has been released.
Welcome
to City of Heroes, the online world that's home to an entire
universe of heroes. Upon release of the game, you and thousands
of other players will be able to take on the roles of super
powered heroes - in a stunning, 3D graphical world.
Create
your own hero, fight evil, form your own super hero group,
explore skyscrapers, slums, sewers and streets of Paragon
City.
Confront
super villains, aliens, madmen, criminals, and other fearsome
foes. Take on personalized missions and rid the city of several
different evil organizations and hundreds of individual enemies.
Become
an integral part of twenty different ongoing story arcs as
the villain groups menace Paragon City and react to player
victories and defeats.
