Bringing
Justice To Your Gaming Platform...
Justice League Heroes
is Coming...
We've
had this stuff for a week, and actually at one point had
it all put together for posting when the Fanboy Planet mobile
lab computer crashed. Not a zombie attack, just rather poor
heat sink design on the part of HP.
So
maybe we're behind, but we've still got all the stuff that
Warner Brothers Interactive tried to give us way in advance.
The
League has appeared in videogames a few times before, but
never as effectively as this game looks to be. We'll know
after E3 how much more effectively; at this point we don't
even have a release date.
We
have here the trailer,
which looks creepy in a good way. We have a few screen shots,
some taken from the trailer and two ripped officially by
Warner Brothers for our readers. The game will be available
for Xbox, PS2 and PSP.
We
know this much:
Dwayne
McDuffie wrote the story. You really can't do better by
fans than have one of the writers from the animated series
spin a little something for the game.
Snowblind Studios is developing it.
Powers can be developed and adapted for individual characters.
Seven
Leaguers are playable -- including Zatanna, standing in
for the semi-traitorous Hawkgirl, I guess. We'll take it.
The
game has two player capability, and the thing that amuses
lame gamers like myself, a fully destructible environment.
We
also have the website officially launched. So you can torment
yourself even more by going to Justice
League Heroes. Start drooling. I know I am.
