Justice
League Unlimited Preview:
Derek's Continuity Corner Bonus Guide
To The JLU
We're
just two days away from the season premiere of Justice League
Unlimited, which means that starting on Monday, we'll be
covering the show every time a new episode arrives. From
Bruce Timm and company's appearance at Comic-Con, it's a
sure bet that fans of the DC Universe will be going wild,
with, as Timm joked, "...lots of heroes and hardly
any villains, just like the toy line!"
Among
those promised will be Captain Marvel, and a double-date
between Green Arrow and Black Canary with The Question and
The Huntress. Just in case you don't know your Question
from your Booster Gold, we thought it might be a good idea
to show you a few stills from this weekend's premiere episode,
"Initiation," in which Green Arrow, Supergirl,
Captain Atom and the Green Lantern John Stewart (more than
one will appear this season) take on a fiery robot that
strongly resembles John Byrne's Brimstone from Legends.
Though the episode focuses on those four, it also will go
a long way to show you a satellite full of heroes -- some
we may never see in action, some we should never
see in action, but sadly, here in Derek's Continuity Corner,
we can mostly name.

Personally,
I'm pulling for an episode featuring Waverider, B'wana Beast
and Aztek, just because I can't figure out if it would be
brilliant or utterly horrifying.
If I've
gotten any of these wrong, or missed any, by all means write
in and correct me. This means you, Phil LaMarr.
If you're
jazzed about the Justice League Unlimited, talk
about it on the
forums!
