                        At WonderCon,
your intrepid Planeteers were invited to an exclusive press
conference to announce the discovery of the "lost classic"
                      Monarch of
                      the Moon.

created by Dark Horse... | We sniffed
around researching it, and discovered of course that this
was a parody of science fiction serials mixed with wartime
propaganda, but it seemed fun to go along with the joke.
Especially since producer Chris Tongue told us "...don't
confuse it with the remake," which was, of course,
listed on the Internet Movie Database, mysteriously featuring
Chris Tongue as an extra. Plans
                      are stepping up. This
week, Harry Knowles will host a screening of the film in
Austin, but as a thank you to Fanboy Planet for giving early
attention to it, the producers of the film have given us
exclusive stills from it in order to hype things up. What
we still don't know is if it will get the limited theatrical
release that they hoped for back in February, but we'll
keep our fingers crossed. And if we can arrange an S.F.
Bay Area screening, we'll let you know. It looks
fun, it looks cool, and we'll be giving your more info on
                      it as it develops. Click
