spurred by the heat surrounding Bendis' Ultimate Venom, Marvel
brings back the one and only original. (What about Carnage?
I hear you shout. Officers, please have that man removed at
once.)
In my
younger more care-free days I tried to buy into Venom being
a character worth standing on his own and just couldn't. Lethal
Protector might as well have been Lethal Weapon 5 for all
I cared. Can Joe Q make me change my mind?
Ironically,
in a lunchtime conversation today site designer Mish'al Samman
complained that the only time he didn't like Venom was when
they overdid the tongue. Sorry, Meesh.
