RUN...Or You Could Just Go To Carrousel

In terms of just straight up fun, and proof that somebody really needs to crack the nut of whatever is holding up the remake, Logan's Run is going to take to the fabled Streets of San Francisco on Saturday, February 8, 2014 -- or 2274 if you prefer.
Not exclusively a run, the event allows participants of all, shall we say, levels of athleticism to participate. The great thing is -- on either side of the game.
Put together by a group called The Multiverse Council, the event will feature Runners and Sandmen (for an extra price) on a hunt to find Sanctuary. It sounds like there may be all kinds of unexpected obstacles, though no word on if Box will freeze you.
From the website, it's also clearly based on the movie, not the original William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson novel, but they're close enough. In either case, your life jewel will blink from red to black and it's time to run.
