The First Trailer For Gotham
 I'm really not sure if this part of things is officially news, when Fox had been saying all along that they were eliminating pilot season, and Gotham was going to be the first beneficiary of that policy. But today, the network announced they have picked up the series about Lt. James Gordon before he becomes Commisioner Gordon in Gotham City, starring Ben McKenzie and Donal Logue. The show has a 13 episode commitment, and to prove how behind the series Fox is, they debuted this trailer during the return of 24 on Monday, May 5.
It looks solid, touching all bases. My only concern for this show is that it take its time -- already they have proto-Catwoman, proto-Penguin, proto-Riddler and proto-Poison Ivy showing up. Let them develop, Fox. You have seven years to get to Batman..
