At Comic-Con, the buzz for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was all about the revelation of Electro. We saw a little bit of Paul Giamatti, but not quite as The Rhino, though that's well-known.
The rumor cropped up, somewhat debunked by Director Marc Webb, that actor Colm Feore (who played Laufey in Thor) would be appearing as The Vulture. IMDb does list him as Adrian Toomes, who in the comics is the Vulture, but Webb said that two villains were really enough.
Except this is Hollywood studio thinking --and in a blockbuster, there's no such thing as really enough.
Friday morning, the publicists for an indie sci fi film called Higher Power tout Feore in the role of "Control." Fine. Dandy. But this is how they tout him:
Feore, who starred in NBC’s REVOLUTION and Showtime’s BORGIAS, can next be seen as Spider-Man's foe ‘The Vulture’ in the forthcoming film THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2.
Again, the most recent reports debunked this very thing. So... more fuel to the fire! And that gives us four members of the Sinister Six!
