Rose McIver Delicately Eating Brains In iZombie!

The CW announced today that they are holding back on their Vertigo comics adaptation, iZombie, helmed by Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas.

But that didn't stop them from releasing a picture of series lead Rose McIver as Liv (get it?), the girl cursed to be a zombie who can achieve some semblance of normalcy by eating brains. Something about the chopsticks just made her seem ridiculously realistic to me.

I haven't actually read any of the original Vertigo series, created by Chris Roberson and Mike Allred, but it looks like I have a couple more months to do so. Thomas admits, however, that the series is a rather loose adaptation at best, borrowing the central premise and burrowing it deep in more established TV tropes.
