Bryan
Singer To Write Ultimate X-Men?
Okay,
so maybe he knows a thing or two about the characters...

Is this
Bryan Singer or Ultimate Bryan Singer?

Variety
reported an item today that should send chills down the spines
of comics fans everywhere. The good kind, by the way.
According
to the entertainment industry newspaper, screenwriters Dan
Harris and Michael Dougherty (credited for X2: X-Men United)
will be spending an awful lot of time in director Bryan Singer's
head. The duo will join Singer in co-writing a run on Ultimate
X-Men, after David Mack takes a shot at the book starting
with #51.
As if
that weren't enough, the article makes the claim that once
they finish their year-long arc on the hit comic book, the
three will jump right into preparation for X-Men 3 or
perhaps simply X3. All we can confirm is that it won't
be xXx.
Before
any of that, however, Harris and Dougherty have to finish
up work on the screenplay for Ender's Game, a film
adaptation of Orson Scott Card's classic novel to be directed
by Wolfgang Peterson.
