We already know that Arrow and The Flash rock, and that the CW is rapidly becoming the go to for superhero television. (Please, please #saveconstantine!)
So we've known about this spin-off for a while, and now The CW releases this preview that confirms a lot of things and makes them even more exciting.
For some reason, though they mention Firestorm, only Martin Stein (Victor Garber) is in this trailer and in the announced cast list. Is Robbie Amell holding out on signing (cousin Stephen needs to have a family meeting) or will something be happening to Ronnie Raymond in next week's season finale of The Flash?
Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) will have multiple past lives. White Canary (Caity Lotz) will have come back via the Lazarus Pit. Somehow Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heatwave (Dominic Purcell) have to be involved because the team needs Rogues (I'll buy the drama of it). And Rip Hunter is part of the Time Masters, though by casting Arthur Darvill, they're also making him like a sci fi John Constantine. (#saveconstantine)
And having Brandon Routh be a regular ... well, it's not quite the Ray Palmer we know, but there's plenty of time for The Atom to become more the Silver Age version instead of a DC version of Iron Man. Routh has charisma and charm to spare. Heck, all the cast does. When are we going to be able to sleep?
DC's Legends of Tomorrow is scheduled for mid-season in 2015-2016.
We cannot wait.
