Comic-Con 2014:
Toy Story That Time Forgot

One of the prime things you need to bring to Comic-Con is a poster tube. I forget one every single year. But I've just seen a give-away poster ahead of time that tells me what I need isn't just a poster tube but more wall space.

Artist Mike Mignola (Hellboy) has designed a poster for this year's Fall Toy Story special on ABC, following last year's highly successful and entertaining Toy Story of Terror. Get ready for the Toy Story That Time Forgot.

This time around Buzz (Tim Allen) and Woody (Tom Hanks) will face Reptillus Maximus (Kevin McKidd), leader of a line of action figures that -- just like Buzz once upon a time -- take their backstory just a wee bit too seriously. When you're an heroic astronaut, that's probably not a problem. When you're warrior dinosaurs, that can be a bit chaotic in the playroom.

Composer Michael Giacchino (Toy Story of Terror, John Carter) will moderate a panel featuring Executive Producer Galyn Susman, Director Steve Purcell (Brave, and comics fans know him best for the brilliantly anarchic Sam & Max: Freelance Police) and Head of Story Derek Thompson (WALL*E). They'll take a look behind the scenes, showing off sketches, probably a scene or two, and then... they'll go off to sign the poster.

Right... the poster. That brilliant, beautiful poster by Mike Mignola -- THAT they're going to give away at the panel -- Thursday at 11:15 a.m. in Room 6A. After the panel, fans can get it signed.

Take a look at it below in almost all its glory. You might not want to miss this panel. You definitely don't want to miss this poster.
