Comic-Con 2013: A Few Moments with Frank Gorshin
What the heck -- posting this because it's early Friday morning and the thing that has us buzzing is still all the Batman 66 product whizzing around.
We've got comics -- I need to find the DC booth's Comic-Con exclusive #1. We've got toys -- later this morning I'll brave the Mattel line for that Batusi Batman, but even Barbie will be getting into the act.
But we're still without confirmation that Warner or Fox will be able to release the series on DVD and Blu-ray. So with fingers crossed on that, here's a reminder of how above and beyond talented The Riddler, Frank Gorshin, actually was. He's not just an impressionist, though good lord, that Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas as Batman and Robin are great. But watch how he shifts into the body language of The Riddler so easily, and then is obviously a great dancer.
A great talent gone too soon...
