I spent
some time yesterday at Sony's booth, getting a demo and
talking to producer Tim Hill about the game. While it's
true that they had me at hello with this concept, what I
saw Sunday had me chomping at the bit to really get into
this. I love my family, but in November, the Earth might
need me more...
Below
is the trailer for the game that Sony showed at Comic-Con
Saturday night. Written by Geoff Johns and Marv Wolfman,
it features James Marsters as Luthor, Adam Baldwin as Superman,
Kevin Conroy (of course!) as Batman, Mark Hamill as The
Joker and Gina Torres as Wonder Woman. Allegedly, we'll
have interactions with them -- and their voices -- throughout
the game.
The
set-up reminds me a lot of Grant Morrison's ultimate JLA
arc, only this time, the stakes seem to be permanent
as a justification for why the DC Universe would suddenly
be flooded by all these new superheroes.
I'll
write up more about this in a couple of days, but for now...
enjoy this trailer, courtesy of Game Trailer on
Spike TV.
