It's been known for a little while, but the first official teaser image from Marvel's new era was released this morning. This the line-up for the new incarnation of The Avengers -- bright, shiny and fun, though still called "Avengers." If that's true, it's an interesting line-up of more family friendly characters, because once you throw in the bouncing Beast and the surly Gorilla-Man, you have a team that kids would just love.

Maybe it's a reflection of the new boss (Disney), or maybe it's just high time that we get back to heroes being heroes.
