I'm not actually sure how last week's announcement that Civil War #4 would be delayed affects this checklist, which Marvel released to the Press this weekend and will send to retailers by September 13. So take my skeptical grain of salt with one of your own. It's so cute when fans still believe the hype. Really.

What we do have to look at honestly is that a lot of the books listed below contain repercussions that will be felt through a lot of the other books listed below. Forget about the House of M; right now, Marvel continuity is a House of Jenga, and if we pull the wrong book from the schedule, that tower is going to come falling down.

If your favorite Marvel book has been delayed, take that windfall of three bucks and try it on something else, maybe even something independent. You can bet that your friendly neighborhood retailer could still use the sale, even though Marvel itself will still probably be okay during these difficult times of delay.
