Boom! Studios Teases Big Trouble...
We are living in a golden age of movie-based comics (again, thank you, Dark Horse, for raising the bar). If this teaser delivers its promise, this is a perfect combination of creator and property: Eric Powell on Big Trouble In Little China.
Boom! Studios promises more information on Friday, so we do not know if this will be a straight adaptation (doubtful, honestly - Boom! has a history of doing both excellent prequels and sequels) or, as I just parenthetically referenced, an excellent sequel. (Jack Burton is already wearing a t-shirt from Chinatown, so it seems more likely a sequel.)
Now, if Boom! could just wrest the Buckaroo Banzai license...
