Neil Gaiman Returns to the Sandman!
So you're upset about Before Watchmen. You think that DC has treated its creators poorly. And then something like this happens. Neil Gaiman will collaborate with JH Williams III (a fantastic choice of artist) on a mini-series telling the untold story of how Morpheus became weak enough to be captured during World War I. If you don't understand that sentence, please kindly order all the volumes of The Sandman below and then come back and watch this video so you can geek out with the rest of us:

The project has been a long time coming. Gaiman had mentioned in years past that he and DC had been unable to reach an agreement in time for the 20th Anniversary of Sandman, so really, this isn't out of the blue; it was just one of those great lost projects that we would never see. And now we will.
