Sable
On The Outs...Again
Falls Count Anywhere UPDATE!

There's
a strange morality in the WWE...
and at Fanboy Planet.
|
Sable,
who has been in and out of the doghouse over her entire
WWF/E career, was released. The reason is an interview she
gave to the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, where she spoke
her mind on various topics relating to women and the WWE.
She
said that they were held to higher standards of appearance
and performance, as well as moral standards. A fair point
on the appearance, though the guys are under great pressure
to look top-shelf too. The Performance part is a joke, really,
though some of the women are pretty good.
The
moral issue is tougher. There are some women who have been
given firm warnings for their sexual proclivities, including
Missy Hyatt in WCW, but I can’t think of a single
guy who has been fired for the same reason…unless
he slept with the promoter’s wife. The whole thing
blew up and they officially released Sable on Monday. The
possible plot to use Sable as a tool to lure Brock back
is obviously cancelled.
Sable
started with the WWF back in 1996 with her then-husband,
Marc Mero. She went from being his valet to being a wrestler
to being WWF’s official hot chick after Sunny left.
She has appeared in Playboy 3 times, and has done some low-budget
film work.

We
don't need excuses to run shots like this...
but it helps.

The
other news is more serious and according to some in the
know, it may end up costing some folks their jobs and more
than one guy his spot at the top of the card. RAW on Monday
did a 3.2, which is ridiculously low. Everyone was expecting
a much higher rating, especially with a Pay per view on
Sunday and the strong build they’ve done for the top
programs.
No one
is sure what the reason for the low rating is, though some
folks backstage are trying to pin it on Benoit. The competition
was slightly tougher, with the Redskins and the Broncos
in the Hall of Fame game on ABC, but football hasn’t
made this much of a dent in wrestling in years.
Other
talk focuses around Randy Orton, as the show was more built
around him than HHH.
Some
are saying that this shows that it’s much too soon
for him to be given the ball to run with, and that they
shouldn’t give Randy the belt on Sunday and instead
find a way to get it onto HHH.
One
person I spoke to said that the creative team is taking
some shots right now, and if the buy-rate for SummerSlam
is low, that the RAW side will likely take the brunt.
The
other reason for this article was so Derek would have a
reason to post one last Sable swimsuit shot.
