Welcome
to Falls Count Anywhere! My name is Chris and I love The
Computer Wore Tennis Shoes...
RAW
RAW started with John Cena coming out and getting a great
reaction for both a heel and a face. Seriously, it was probably
the biggest heel reaction in ages and as a face he was even
bigger. Strange. Vince McMahon came out after a while and
Cena said he’d lost his mind. Crazy Vince is entertaining.
Cryme Tyme and
Candice Michaelle beat Johnny Nitro, Kenny Dykstra and Melina.
Melina was so freakin’ hot! The team of Nitro and
Dykstra worked far better as a team than Cryme Tyme. Dykstra
hit a Slingshot and then draped Shad over his knees and
Nitro followed with a big elbow. Great double teaming. The
match was pretty good and Nitro showed why he’s such
a talent with things like a break-dancing/Capoeira kick
that looked awesome. Cryme Tyme hit the G9 for the pin.
Good stuff.
Santino Marella
took on Chris Masters. Not too good a match, though I’m
kinda liking Marella. This was set up from Vince going crazy
watching Maria and Sonny admiring the IC belt. That flipped
Vince out. Crazy Vince is fun! Masters controlled a lot
of the match, hit a Stun Gun, but Marella slipped out of
the Masterlock and got the pin with La Majistral. Sloppy,
but what are you gonna do with Masters?
Cade and Murdoch
did a bit where they congratulated The Hardys on their Ladder
Match victory at One Night Stand. Cade and Murdoch asked
for a match after the Hardys healed, but Vince came in and
made the match for tonight. Vince saw Flair and Torrie and
flipped out again and set up a match between Carlito and
Torrie, as well as Flair and Randy Orton.
Orton managed
to beat Flair in a match where Orton came off as a great
heel. He’s a hired gun who I appreciate. They’re
programming him kinda like a 1980s Arn Anderson or Lex Luger
at later times. Not quite a squash, but Flair did get a
couple of pieces of offense. I am loving the fact that Orton
uses the Garvin Stomp. I think Orton might be on his way
back towards the top.

Carlito beat
Torrie with one of those famous ‘I don’t’
want to hurt you’ moments and then turned and gave
her the BackPack for the pin. They’re workin’
hard to get Carlito over and I’m hoping they manage.
He’s talented and has history.
Cade and Murdoch
beat The Hardys. It was a clean wrestling match at the start,
stressing the ‘turn’ of the Cade/Murdoch team.
Matt and Jeff did pretty good. The bigger guys were in control,
but they Jeff and Matt came back a hit some good stuff,
including a nice segment where Matt hit the Side Effect
and then Jeff went for the Swanton but missed! That was
a nice touch. Cade covered Jeff, who had his foot on the
ropes and then Murdoch pushed Jeff’s foot off the
rope, in a subtle return to heeldom. Good stuff and some
smart booking.
Triple Threat
match between Khali and Umaga. Cena is so beyond the need
to beat two big heels at once, but it was a decent moment.
Khali tried and failed, but Umaga made up for it. Umaga
is a worker and he’s good enough to carry a load like
Khali to a decent match. Khali and Umaga went toe to toe
and Khali kicked Umaga out of the ring. Khali and Umaga
fought some more, and it wasn’t the best. Umaga gave
Khali the Spike, but then Umaga was knocked out of the ring
and then Cena gave Khali the FU for the in. That should
be the end of the Khali push. Now they gotta find a situation
like The Oddities for him!
That’s
all for this week. More to come on Monday!
