Welcome to Falls Count Anywhere-Lite! My
name is Chris and I know this is late (and short)
Well,
I didn’t get a SmackDown! tape, but the big deal with
SD! right now is that Kurt Angle is going to ECW. This means
that SD! is losing an important part of the equation, especially
without Benoit being around.
It’s
a hard thing to swallow as it makes it obvious that ECW’s
getting a bigger push than SD!, but it also means that Kurt
has a chance to heal up a little, since they’re not
starting for a while and then when he gets back, he’ll
be at his best.
Diego Sanchez vs. Alessio UFC fight was
great. It was back and forth and really, it could have gone
either way. I watched it three times, once just to watch
it and twice using a scoring system that’s something
like they use in Boxing and I got two different results
each time. Sanchez is a bad ass and he got the win in the
ring.
RAW
was pretty good at times, but I hated the Vince McMahon
rant at the start and the fact that they didn’t reveal
the new GM on the show. That was a dumb thing. Coach was
named new Executive Assistant. It really didn’t matter,
other than he got to make a match for Cena.
Benjamin
and Kane had a match that ended when Kane went nuts after
a new Kane, in his original garb, came out and chokeslammed
the original Kane. You could have heard a pin drop while
that was happening. It was just another stupid angle for
Kane, who has had to deal with a lot of crap. See No
Evil has done good numbers considering the costs and
should mean that WWE Films won’t go broke too soon.
Armando came out to offer Coach the assistance
of Umaga when Viscera came out. That led to Umaga beating
Viscera in a match. Umaga did give Big Viz a Downward Spiral
on the outside. That was awesome.

Who
had the order of the Phoenix?
|
Torrie
Wilson and Beth Phoenix along with Trish beat Victoria and
Candice with Mickie James. This wasn’t a terrible
match, but it was only kinda cool. The only thing that really
stood out was the big Michinoku Driver thingee that Phoenix
did to get the pin.
John Cena beat the debuting Johnny Nitro.
It was an OK match with Nitro getting some offense. Really,
the best part of the match was Melina doing her entrance
and having Nitro slide in between her legs. She got an OK
reaction and if they don’t just job him because of
all the political stuff, he’ll do OK.
Heyman
basically said that Mick Foley was a Hard Core Uncle Tom.
That’s what it boiled down to until Heyman announced
that RVD and Kurt Angle were his first two draft picks.
Kurt attacked Mr. Foley, which was an awesome sight. I really
hope they go with those two feuding to keep the impact on
Kurt lower than usual except for the blow-offs on PPV.
Sadly,
this was where the tape cut off. Still, it looked OK. I’m
excited to see what’s going to happen next.
That’s
all for this shortened week. Next week, they’ll be
a whole bunch more.
